bookings

All bookings via our online system should be treated as provisional until you receive confirmation from us via email. To secure your booking a non-refundable deposit of 30% (or full payment) of the cost of your stay is required. Bookings must be paid in full 4 weeks before your stay.  If your booking is less than 4 weeks from the date of your stay the full cost of your stay is required.

When you submit a booking via our online reservation system you will receive an automatically generated booking summary by email to the email address you provided.  A contract will only be formed when Double House Farm Holiday Cottages send you a booking confirmation letter via email.

If the balance remains unpaid by the due date, Double House Farm Holiday Cottages reserve the right to re-let your cottage and retain any deposit paid.

The prices featured on the website are not binding.  The price stated on the booking confirmation you receive are binding.

Double House Farm Holiday Cottages reserve the right, at all times, without statement of reasons, to refuse or cancel bookings.

cancellation

If you cancel within 4 weeks of your arrival date we will release your cottage for re-sale. If we are unable to do so, then any monies paid to date will not be refundable. Should you cancel prior to 4 weeks before your arrival, we will refund any monies paid, less your deposit, or you can reschedule your stay for another date. In this instance, an admin fee of £50 will be due. We recommend that you have appropriate holiday insurance cover.

Covid-19 Update: if government restrictions mean that Double House Farm Holiday Cottages cannot honour your booking, we will move your booking to a future date or refund your money. If you cannot travel as a result of restrictions we will move your booking to a future date. If you are concerned that you will not be able to travel, please get in touch with us as soon as possible.
